That consolidation is the formulation philosophy in practice — "less is more" treated as a constraint rather than a slogan. The honest caveat is structural. A multifunctional product is, by design, a series of compromises — it may not match a dedicated, high-concentration treatment on any single axis, and the brand's efficacy case rests on coherent formulating rather than head-to-head trial data. For someone who wants results from fewer bottles and is willing to trade some specialization for simplicity, that trade-off is the entire appeal; for an actives-chaser, it's the limitation.
