What Are Skin Tags?
Skin tags are small harmless growths that occur on areas where the skin forms creases, such as the eyelids, armpits, breast and neck.
The growths extend outwardly often resembling a fleshy stalk. They are typically the size of a grain of rice and usually do not grow or change shape over time.
They are commonly found in people that are overweight. Skin tags are generally risk-free unless they repeatedly irritated by contact with items such as clothing or jewelry or when cut during shaving. If skin types become bothersome they can be removed. See our treatment video for more information.
