How to Choose a Moisturizer
When shopping for moisturizers, make sure to choose one that is appropriate for your skin type.
If you have oily or acne prone skin choose an oil-free moisturizer that won’t clog your pores. And for dry skin a thicker moisturizer may be needed. If you are frequently outdoors or have a skin condition such as rosacea, look for moisturizers that contain UV filters which can offer additional protection against the sun. If you have sensitive skin or suffer from allergies a gentle moisturizer that is fragrance free or hypoallergenic may be needed.
If you are unsure of your skin type or needs, consult with a dermatologist to find out what product may work best.
